Q: What services do you offer?

A: We are an all breed dog and cat boarding facility. We offer both short and long term boarding, as well as doggy day care. Due to limited space daycare my not always be available. 

 

Q: What can I expect my dog's boarding experience to be?

A: While at Tails Inn Kennels your pet will have their own spacious indoor run and be let out to play in one of our many outdoor play yards frequently throughout the day. Inside is climate controlled so they will be quite cozy while inside. We interact with our guests and reinforce good citizenship behaviors through play and positive reinforcement. With breaks in the day for nap time, because just like at home pups like a good nap.

 

Q: How often will my dog be let out?

A: Best answer is frequently.  We cater to the individual needs of the dog. Some dogs like to play outside most of the day, while others just want to potty and run back inside.

 

Q: Can my dog be in an outdoor run during the day and indoor at night?

A: Of course! Once again we cater to the needs of the client, doing whatever we can to make them feel at home.

 

Q: If I own more than one pet can they be housed in the same run?

A: Yes they can as long as there is no history of aggression between them, we want to keep your pets safe and comfortable.

 

Q: Do you accept walk ins or should I set an appointment?

A: While we don't turn away walk ins, we prefer if you call ahead for boarding or tours due to the fact that we fill up pretty early we want to make sure there is room for your pet.

 

Q: Can I tour your facility?

A: Of course! We have nothing to hide here at Tails Inn, please feel free to call to set up your appointment.

 

Q. Do you guys fill up, how soon do I need to make a reservation?

A: We do fill up and highly recommend getting in your reservation in as soon as you know you are leaving, don't wait till last minute.  Popular times of the year are Holidays, weekends, summer months, spring break and graduations.

 

Q: What should I bring for my pet when dropping them off?

A: When you bring them in for boarding please bring:

  • A print out of current vaccine records                                                                                           -Bordetella, Rabies, and 6-way/DHPP for dogs                                                                           -FVRCP and Rabies for cats
  • Food (not required but recommended)
  • Food brought must be in a hard sealable container, no bags.
  • Bed or blankets (something that smells like home)
  • Favorite toys
  • We will not need bowls or leashes. Pets with special dishes such as elevated platforms and slow feeders can be brought. 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept cash or check, due upon pickup.

 

Q: Do you charge per night or per day?

A: We charge per day, but do not charge for last day if pickup by noon.
